About this camp

The AI Scholars Program (Inspirit AI) is a 10-session (25-hour) virtual bootcamp designed to immerse high school students in fundamental Artificial Intelligence concepts and guide them in building socially impactful projects. The program is taught by graduate students and alumni from top universities like Stanford and MIT, providing a personalized learning experience in small groups with a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Students will explore foundational AI concepts, real-world applications, and AI programming skills using Python. The curriculum includes interactive lectures, hands-on coding exercises, and collaborative mini-projects. In the second half of the program, students apply their knowledge to a mentor-led 'AI for Social Good' project, choosing a domain of interest such as healthcare, art, or sustainability. The program culminates in a final presentation of their group project. Students also participate in college and career preparation workshops and gain access to an online portal with additional resources for continuous learning.
