About this camp

CodeREV Kids Tech Camps offer an immersive STEM experience where students actively engage in creating with technology. Campers learn coding fundamentals, 3D modeling, game development, and app creation. The curriculum utilizes both block-based and text-based programming languages, allowing students to progress from foundational concepts to more advanced techniques. Through hands-on projects, students gain valuable skills in object-oriented programming, game design, digital art, and animation. The program emphasizes a project-based learning approach, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset. Students develop a final project to take home, complete with software instructions, and participate in daily 'pair and share' sessions to receive feedback and iterate on their creations. The camp aims to empower students to become confident creators, designers, programmers, and developers.
