AI Explorers Lab

Kids learn how AI actually works and build a real portfolio, not just use AI.

🔥 Middle School 🕒 8-week Virtual Camp Online Beginner-friendly 💰 $699 total

About this camp

AI Explorers Lab is a live, online AI program built specifically for middle schoolers in grades 6-8. Instead of just using AI, students learn how it actually works — and build real things with it.

Across 8 instructor-led sessions of 90 minutes each, students go from "what even is AI?" to shipping a portfolio: an AI-trained image classifier, a working chatbot, an AI-powered game, a fact-check report, and more. Every session ends with something they made and can show.

Responsible AI is built into every class — bias, hallucinations, privacy, and academic honesty are taught as skills, not afterthoughts. No coding experience is required; students begin with no-code tools and grow from there.

An accelerated 2-week summer intensive covers the same curriculum at a faster pace. Every student finishes with a certificate of completion and a portfolio they can present.

What a typical day looks like

Each 90-minute session follows the same rhythm: a warm-up question, a plain-language concept breakdown, a live demo, a hands-on build, time to test and improve, and a share-out with the cohort.

Best suited for

Curious students in grades 6-8 who want to understand AI — whether their interest is science, art, gaming, business, or social impact. Beginners are welcome and no coding background is needed.
